Christina Heinemann was trained as a Graphic Designer in Hamburg, Germany, where she worked as a free-lance Commercial Artist for several years.
She moved to Salt Spring Island in 1986, and continued graphic design work under the name C-Design.
In 1996, Christina created "The Animaliacs" Wearable Art, hand painted animals on recycled clothing.
"The Animaliacs" were available on the Farmers Market, Salt Spring Island. As her passion of painting grew, she experimented with different media, styles, and colours, using intuition to express.
Since Summer 2001 Christina has been offering "Flashes of Splashes" expressive painting workshops.
